Ankit slams century as Muzaffarpur win

Muzaffarpur: In the first match of the BCA Senior Cricket Tournament organized by Bihar Cricket Association, Muzaffarpur defeated West Champaran by a huge margin of 218 runs and secured full points.

At the NICA (Kaparpura) playground, Muzaffarpur won the toss and batted first and scored 303 runs after losing all the wickets in the stipulated 50 overs match. Ankit Kumar Singh batted brilliantly and scored 118 runs. Chiranjeevi scored 67 runs and Atul Priyankar scored 27 runs for his team.

For West Champaran, Chandrakant succeeded in taking two wickets, Himanshu took two, Jitendra took two, Lokesh took one wicket and Om Kumar succeeded in taking one wicket.

In reply, the entire West Champaran team was all out after scoring 85 runs in 21 overs. For West Champaran, Ayush scored 15 runs, Aditya scored 18 runs and Jitendra scored 21 runs.

Devashish from Muzaffarpur bowled brilliantly and took four important wickets, while Naman also bowled economically and took three wickets. Mohit succeeded in taking two wickets and Vishal succeeded in taking one wicket.

Man of the Match award was given to Muzaffarpur’s Ankit Kumar Singh for his brilliant century of 118 runs.
