33rd Sub Junior National Girls Kabaddi Championship Gets Off to Colourful Start

Patna: Hard work is essential for achieving success in any field. If you are determined and honestly try to achieve any goal, you will definitely get success in it, said the guests in their address at the inauguration ceremony of the 33rd National Sub Junior Girls Kabaddi Championship.

The 33rd National Subjunior Girls Kabaddi Championship, hosted by the Bihar State Kabaddi Association under the auspices of the Amateur Kabaddi Federation of India, was inaugurated by Patna District Magistrate Kapil Ashok, Director of Sports Department, Government of Bihar Mahendra Kumar, Chief Coach of the Indian Women’s Kabaddi Team Tejaswini Bai and captain of Pro Kabaddi franchise Patna Pirates Sachin Tanwar.

Patna District Magistrate, Shirat Kapil Ashok, while giving a message to the players, said that it will make little difference whether you win or lose, but you should always keep in mind that your game should always be victorious. He said that you should work hard and move ahead, and in the coming days, you should also make your name famous like Tejaswini Bai, Sachin Tanwar and Sandeep Kumar of Bihar.

The Sports Department Director, Mahendra Kumar, expressed the Bihar government’s determination to promote sports and players during the inaugural address of this championship at the local Pataliputra Sports Complex. For this, we have also started a talent search programme. The Sports Department and Bihar State Sports Authority are ready to push the sport forward.

 

Tejaswini Bai and Sachin Tanvar  gave a message to the players and said that they should never adopt shortcut methods in life. Move forward by developing discipline in every area of life, and we wish you all the best.

Welcoming everyone, Bihar State Kabaddi Association Secretary Kumar Vijay Singh said that it is a matter of pride for all of us that big personalities in sports and administration are present among us. He said that both the personalities present in the administration were also players. Sports Department Director Mahendra Prasad is fond of cricket, while Patna DM Shirat Kapil Ashok has been a Kabaddi player. Tejaswini Bai and Sachin Tanwar are the pride of Indian Kabaddi.

The programme started with the national anthem. After this, Bihar State Kabaddi Association Secretary Kumar Vijay Singh welcomed all the guests by giving away bouquets, mementos and shawls.

DM Shirat Kapil Ashok and Sports Department Director Mahendra Prasad specially honoured Tejaswini Bai, Sachin Tanwar, Shama Parveen and Sandeep Kumar.

On this occasion, along with officials of various state associations, Dr. Shanti SB Singh, Sanjay Kumar of the Sports Department and Anandi Kumar were honoured by Bihar State Kabaddi Association.
