Patna: YMCC entered the semi-finals winning two matches in the Super League of the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League organided by the ad-hoc committee constituted by the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) for the operation of cricket in Patna district.
In the match played on Sunday, YMCC defeated PESU by two wickets. Before this, they defeated Rising Star.
YMCC won the toss and elected to field in the match played at the Urja Stadium. Batting first, PESU scored 162 runs losing all wickets in 31.2 overs with the help of Piyush Kumar Singh’s unbeaten 100 runs.
In reply, YMCC scored 166 for 8 in 32.2 overs thanks to Suraj Kashyap’s captain’s knock of 70 runs and booked the semi-final berths. Suraj Kashyap was awarded the player of the match award.
