Patna, July 31: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that tribal, Dalit and backward communities are paramount in the agenda of the BJP. The party and the government are working continuously for the villages, poor, farmers, dalits and exploited, he said while addressing the concluding ceremony of the Sanyukt Morcha National Executive Committee meeting of the party at Gyan Bhavan here on Sunday.
Shah said that under the leadership of Narendra Modi, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will form the government at the Center in 2024 by winning more Lok Sabha seats than before. For this, he has called upon all the morcha office bearers of the party to mobilise the people at the booth level from now on. He said that the BJP will fight not only the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Bihar, but also the 2025 assembly elections in alliance with the JD(U).
While quoting Amit Shah, BJP’s national general secretary cum MP Arun Singh said while replying to a query that there is no difference in Bihar NDA. BJP knows how to follow coalition dharma and always gives respect to its alliance partners. We will all fight the elections together.
BJP National president JP Nadda also addressed the concluding session.
Amit Shah said It was only under Narendra Modi’s government that for the first time a tribal woman reached the highest constitutional post of President. Before that, Ram Nath Kovind, who belongs to Dalit community, was the President for five years. He said that for the first time in the Modi cabinet, more people coming from tribal, Dalit and backward communities and rural background have become ministers as compared to earlier central governments so far.
The Sanyukt Morchas of the BJP passed two political resolutions. Among these, the first is to bring the respect of Dalits and Backward under the Narendra Modi government to the people and secondly, under the Amrit Mahotsav of independence, hoisting the tricolor at every house. The office-bearers resolved that from August 13 to 15, a campaign would be launched to hoist the tricolor in every house. Before that, from August 9 to 12, an atmosphere of patriotism and gaiety will be created. In this period, the workers and general public will also remember the freedom fighters of the country.
National general secretary Arun Singh said it was decided in the meeting that by August 15, working committees of all morchas would be constituted. After this, the formation of district working committees will be completed by September.
