In its relentless pursuit to become India’s growth engine, Uttar Pradesh is gearing up to enhance its global presence by hosting the Moto GP India 2023 event. The Yogi government will mark its presence at the renowned event held at the Buddha International Circuit in Greater Noida from September 22nd to 24th. This event presents a unique opportunity for Uttar Pradesh to establish the ‘Brand UP’ image in over 200 countries worldwide.

This event will not only position India, particularly Uttar Pradesh, as a preferred destination for sporting events, including motorsports, but also enhance the state’s reputation as a prominent brand among global corporations. This achievement aligns with the Yogi government’s vision of achieving a one-trillion-dollar economy. The comprehensive plan for the Yogi government’s participation in this event has been prepared by Invest UP, the nodal agency dedicated to attracting investments to Uttar Pradesh.

Event will increase the confidence of global companies in Uttar Pradesh

Following the successful Global Investors Summit 2023 held in Uttar Pradesh from February 10th to 12th, the state witnessed an influx of investments exceeding Rs 37 lakh crore, with participation of major global corporations. Now, even during the MotoGP event in the state, the world’s leading multinational brands, including Sporting World, will be present in the state. The Yogi government is diligently leveraging this opportunity to expedite investment in the region.

A remarkable lineup of 275 top companies, such as Red Bull, Shell, B-Win, BMW, Oakley, Monster, Motul, Tissot, Repsol, Polini, Go Pro, Honda, Michelin, Amazon, DHL, and Petronas, are actively participating in this event. As the CEOs of these companies will also be in attendance, the Yogi government is prioritizing meetings with them to pave the way for increased investments in the state. Such efforts hold the potential to significantly enhance the global recognition of ‘Brand UP.’

Event significant in many ways

This event holds special significance on multiple fronts. It is anticipated that approximately 1.5 lakh attendees per day, including 10,000 international visitors, will converge at the Buddha International Circuit to partake in this global racing spectacle. The event will also be broadcast in 200 countries, and tickets related to the event are being sold in the price range of Rs 800 to Rs 1.80 lakh.

A total of 20 different racing events will be organized over these three days, with the Final Race being the main sporting event on September 24. This premier sporting event features participation of 11 teams and has attracted racing enthusiasts from across the globe to Greater Noida. According to an estimate, the broadcast of this event will reach more than 45 crore viewers all over the world.

Glimpse of Uttar Pradesh is visible even on posters

The Yogi government is working on unlocking hidden business potential, fostering investment opportunities, and boosting tourism and industry, all through the Moto GP racing event. The dedication of the government is evident in the prominent features of iconic landmarks like the Taj Mahal and the Ghats of Varanasi on Moto GP covers.

Uttar Pradesh’s tourism sector has been experiencing a significant upswing, with international visitors not just limited to the Taj Mahal but also eager to explore the rich heritage and culture of the entire state. In light of this, focus is also being laid on exploring and accelerating all the possibilities in the state through the organization of Moto GP.
