Patna: YMCC and Rising Star CC won their respective matches in Patna District Senior Division Cricket League being played under the aegis of Patna District Cricket Association. YMCC defeated PAC by 5 wickets while Rising Star defeated Vidyarthi CC by 5 wickets.
PAC won the toss in the match played at Gennex Cricket Academy Ground and batting first scored 101 runs losing all wickets in 30.1 overs. Kumud Ranjan scored 24 runs. Gaurav Raj, Mohammad Kaif and Satyam took two wickets each. In reply, with the help of Ujjwal Raj’s unbeaten 41 runs, YMCC scored 102 runs losing 5 wickets in 13.3 overs and won the match. Ujjwal (41 runs, 1 wicket) of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award.
Batting first at 22 Yard Cricket Academy Ground, Vidyarthi CC scored 150 runs losing all wickets in 28.1 overs. Ravi Prakash scored 61, Amit Kumar scored 28 and Ritu Raj scored 26 runs. Aditya Raj, Amit, Sunny Samrat took three wickets each while Govind Kumar took 1 wicket.
In reply, Rising Star won the match by scoring 155 runs for 5 wickets in 19.4 overs. Animesh Kumar scored 74, Gulshan Kumar scored 33, Aman Kumar scored 17 and Satyam Kumar remained unbeaten on 16 runs. For Vidyarthi CC, Amit Kumar took 2 wickets, Ajay Kumar and Deepak took 1 wicket each.
