Patna, May 4: BHPCL continued their winning streak in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League by defeating Moonlight CC by 5 wickets on Saturday.
This was the second consecutive win for BHPCL team playing in Group A while it is the sixth consecutive defeat for Moonlight CC. This was Moonlight CC’s last league match this season.
In the match played at the local Urja Stadium, Moonlight CC won the toss and batting first scored 197 runs for 8 wickets in 40 overs with the help of Vikramaditya Chaudhary’s 68 runs (85 balls, 5 fours). Shivam Singh scored 40 (68 balls, 2 fours).
For BHPCL, Pradeep Kumar took 2 wickets and Hasnain took 1 wicket.
In reply, BHPCL won the match by scoring 200 runs for five wickets in 22.5 overs. On behalf of BHPCL, Tusharkant scored 60 runs in 36 balls with the help of 5 fours, Saurabh Tiwari scored 48 runs in 26 balls with the help of 4 fours, Abhilash Kumar scored 38 runs in 19 balls with the help of 4 fours and 3 sixes, Yashasvi Shukla scored 20 runs.
