Patna: The winning and runner-up teams of Casa Picolla School Cricket League Season 4, organised by Turning Point, along with other players and coaches, will be awarded and honoured on May 26 at Premchandra Rangashala here. On this occasion, the Sardar Patel felicitation function will also be organised.
The information was given by Vijay Sharma, MD of Turning Point and organising chairman of Casa Picolla School Cricket League Season 4. He said that the award distribution ceremony will begin at 12.30 pm to the tune of colourful modern, classical and calypso music. The responsibility for the successful conduct of the entire event has been entrusted to Santosh Tiwari of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation, and this event will be held under his supervision.
He said the Rungta Warriors have won the league title, while GONIT Blaster were the runner up.
In this felicitation ceremony, apart from the players of the winning and runner-up teams of Casa Picolla School Cricket League Season 4, the best players of this league will be honoured and rewarded.
He said social workers who have made significant contributions to the development of sports, education and other areas of society will be honoured. Besides, women players and coaches of other sports, including cricket, will also be honoured.
