Patna, May 4: Organized under the auspices of the Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB), the Sumitra Dayal One Day Final Women’s Cricket Tournament is set to take place at the academy grounds on May 7. This announcement was made by Amikar Dayal, director of the Cricket Academy of Bihar and former captain of the Indian youth cricket team.
Two teams will compete in the final match, with players being selected during the ongoing Straight Drive Women’s Cricket Tournament.
In addition to the prestigious trophy awarded to the winning and runner-up teams, individual accolades will be bestowed upon outstanding players, including awards for Best Bowler, Best Batsman, Best Fielder, and Best Wicketkeeper.
The award ceremony will be attended by cricket luminaries from Patna and Bihar, as well as distinguished guests who will provide encouragement to the players.
Preparations for the tournament are being meticulously overseen by Santosh Tiwari of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.
