Patna: Thanks to Yash’s half century (52 runs) and Amit’s excellent bowling (3 wickets), Vidyarthi CC defeated PAC by 18 runs in Patna District Senior Division Cricket League on Thursday.
PAC’s Kumud Ranjan’s (64 runs, 4 wickets) all-round game went in vain.
In the match played at 22 Yard Cricket Academy Ground, Vidyarthi CC won the toss and batting first scored 197 runs losing all wickets in 38.5 overs.
Rahul Raj scored 38, Yash scored 52, Shivam Raj scored 33, Sunny cored 18, Harshit scored 15 runs for Vidyarthi CC. 25 runs were scored with the help of extras.
Nikhil Pradhan took 3 wickets, Kumud Ranjan got 4 wickets and Ranjan Rai bagged 2 wickets for PAC.
