Patna, May 9: Stage is set for the Bihar State Women Chess Championship beginning here on Friday (May 10) at Bihar School of Chess, Patliputra Sports Complex.
The players selected on the basis of this championships, which will run from May 10 to May 12, will represent Bihar in the National Women’s Chess Competition to be held in Chennai. The championships will be inaugurated at 11 am on Friday by Raveendran Sankaran, Director General of Bihar State Sports Authority. The chief arbiter of the championships will be FIDE arbiter Nand Kishore. A total of seven rounds, will be played during the tournament.
