Patna: In the ongoing Laxman Singh Memorial Under-15 Inter-School Cricket Tournament, held on Saturday, at the Krishna Cricket Ground, Shriram Khel Maidan and School of Cricket emerged victorious in their respective matches, securing their places in the next round. Shriram Khel Maidan clinched a narrow win against SSC by 2 wickets, while School of Cricket defeated 22 Yard Cricket Academy by 4 wickets.
In the first match, SSC won the toss and opted to bat first, posting a total of 176 runs for 8 wickets in the allotted 25 overs. In response, Shriram Khel Maidan chased down the target, scoring 177 runs for 8 wickets in 24.1 overs. Karan Kumar of Shriram Khel Maidan was named Player of the Match for his outstanding all-round performance, contributing 88 runs and taking 3 wickets. Arvind Pathik from Union Bank of India presented him with the award.
