Patna, May 7: Shasheem Rathore of PESU showcased an extraordinary performance, scoring an unbeaten 81 runs off just 19 balls, leading PESU to a commanding 9-wicket victory over Bata XI. Rathore’s blistering innings included 12 sixes and 2 fours.
In another fixture, despite impressive half-centuries from Shlok Kumar (78 runs) and Harsh Raj (56 runs), the RBNYAC team suffered a narrow defeat to Adhikari XI by a single wicket. Pulak contributed significantly with a knock of 70 runs for Adhikari XI, securing their sixth consecutive win in Pool B and maintaining their top position.
PESU vs Bata XI
At Urja Stadium, Bata XI won the toss and elected to bat first, posting a total of 148 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 40 overs.
