Patna: Shailendra Kumar Memorial Under-15 Inter-School Cricket Tournament will be organised in memory of senior sports journalist Shailendra Kumar in collaboration with Vatsalya Computer under the aegis of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium from April 9. This information was given by Santosh Tiwari, General Secretary of Sardar Patel Sports Foundation.
He said that 24 teams will be allowed to participate in this event. All the matches will be played on knock out basis of 25-25 overs. There will be one match each day.
He said the winning and runner-up teams will be given many attractive prizes including trophies. Man of the Match, Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Best Wicketkeeper, Man of the Series and many other awards will also be given.
