Patna: The selection trial of Bihar sub-junior and junior teams that will participate in the Khelo India Junior and Sub-Junior East Zone, North-East Zone Women’s Kho-Kho League allotted to the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar by the Union Sports Ministry, Sports Authority of India, and Kho-Kho Federation of India will be held on March 10 at TR Narayan Heritage School, Swami Vivekananda Colony, Sikandra Road, near Power House, Jamui. Neeraj Kumar Pappu, General Secretary of the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, provided this information.
He said that the Khelo India League, which is being organized with a view to discovering, develop and encouraging women players in various sports across the country, will be of full benefit to the Kho-Kho game in Bihar and the women players here will get a lot of inspiration and opportunity to learn from it.
On the basis of this selection trial, a total of 30 talented players will be selected for the Bihar Sub-Junior and Junior Women Kho-Kho teams. Players from government and private schools and colleges in all the districts of Bihar can participate in the selection trial. To participate in this, all the players must reach the venue with the original Aadhaar card and its photocopy, a birth certificate and its photocopy, and two passport size photographs.
Kanchan Singh, Director of TR Narayan Heritage School of Jamui, Principal Shailesh Kumar Jha, Kho-Kho Association of Jamui President Amrendra Kumar Attri, and Secretary Anurag Kumar Singh have been given the responsibility for the successful conduct of this selection trial. The organizing committee will provide transportation facilities from Jamui Railway Station to the venue of the event for all the players participating in the trial. Food arrangements have also been made for the players.
