Patna: Secretariat CC defeated Bata CC by five wickets in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League on Tuesday.
In the match played at the local Sampatchak ground, Bata CC won the toss and with the help of Kumar Niwas’ 39 runs, scored 146 runs after losing all the wickets in 36 overs.
Raj Kumar Devnath and Sunny took 3 wickets each from the Secretariat side.
In reply, Secretariat CC team won the match by scoring 147 runs for five wickets in 21 overs. Kumar Satyam scored 64 runs in 56 balls with the help of 6 fours, Priya Ranjan Kumar Singh scored 36 runs in 21 balls with the help of 4 fours and 2 sixes. Sunny (16 runs, 3 wickets) of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award.
