Sarvesh shines with bat and ball as Pioneer CC win in Patna District Junior Division Cricket League

Patna: MCC and Pioneer CC won their respective matches on Wednesday in the Patna District Junior Division Cricket League. Sarvesh Sagar scored a century for Pioneer CC and also took three wickets.

At Mangal Talab Ground, MCC defeated Bhanwar Pokhar by ten wickets while Pioneer CC defeated Khagaul CC by a huge margin of 190 runs at Khemnichak ground.

At Mangal Talab, Bhanwar Pokhar won the toss and batting first scored 105 runs losing all wickets in 18.5 overs. Deepak scored 40 runs. For MCC, Krish took four wickets for four runs in 1.5 overs.

In reply, MCC won the match by scoring 106 runs in 5.3 overs without losing wickets with the help of Rishu’s 70 runs. Rishu played an unbeaten inning of 70 runs in 24 balls with the help of 6 fours and 7 sixes.

At Khemnichak Ground, Pioneer CC won the toss and batting first scored 281 runs for five wickets. Vishal Kumar scored 70, Sarvesh Sagar scored 100, Rahul Jaiswal scored 50 not out.

In reply, Khagaul CC could not stand in front of the excellent bowling of Pioneer bowlers and the entire team was all out for 91 runs in 19.5 overs. For Pioneer, Kanhaiya Kumar took 4 for 20, Diwakar took 3 for 39 and Sarvesh Sagar took 3 for 15. Sarvesh Sagar was given the player of the match award.
