SABAGRIs (BAU) and CIMP-BIIF Sign MOU to Further Enrich Startup Ecosystems

Bhagalpur: In order to further enrich startup ecosystems in Bihar and other neighbouring states, the Sabour Agri Incubators (SABAGRIs), Bihar Agricultural University (BAU), Sabour and Chandragupt Institute of Management -Business Incubation and Innovation Foundation, (CIMP-BIIF), Patna signed a Meomorendum of Understanding (MOU) yesterday.

The MOU was signed on behalf of SABAGRIs (BAU) and CIMP-BIIF respectively by Anil Kumar Singh, Director Research, BAU and Kumod Kumar, CEO, CIMP-BIIF.

As per the MOU, SABAGRIs (BAU) and CIMP-BIIF would jointly work for infrastructure creation and resources availability of startups. Capacity building through workshops, diploma and certificate courses, research programmes, specialized training sessions besides addressing other diverse needs of the startups are among major objectives both the institutions aim to attain by signing MOU.

Looking forward to make startups aspirational carrier option for youths in Bihar and other adjoining states, the institutions further aim at ensuring innovative and sustainable impact of startup ecosystem.

It may be worth mentioning startup ecosystem consisting individuals, startups in various stages and organizations, through process of interaction focusses on creating and scaling up startup companies.

SABAGRIs was established by BAU in in 2019 to promote and encourage innovation beside help economic growth by supporting early-stage startups. Transforming power of entrepreneurship and creating environment that nurtures collaboration concerning food, feed, fiber, façade and fuel through sustainable resource management are among other objectives of SABAGRIs (BAU).

CIMP-BIIF, Patna has been keenly involved in implementing Bihar Start Up Policy 2022. SABAGRIs (BAU) and CIMP-BIIF deciding to work jointly to further increase effectivity of startup ecosystems, would give boost to entrepreneurial atmosphere in Bihar and other adjoining states, it felt by members of academic circle.

VC, BAU, D. R Singh meanwhile has commended SABAGRIs team member for their initiative of preparing future work plan for enriching start up ecosystems.
