Two Youths Shot Dead in Two Seperate Criminal Incidents in Bhagalpur

Bhagalpur: In two separate incidents two youths were shot dead by unidentified criminals last night in Nathnagar area of city. The victims have been identified as Prince Kumar, a resident of Kundi Tola under Lalmatia PS and Shekhar a resident of Noorpur locality under Masudanpur PS.

Both the youths were murdered almost at same time around 9.30 PM last night. While body of Prince Kumar was found on railway track near platform No1 of Nathnagar railway station the other victim Shekhar died at medical college hospital.

Though apparently no links could be found by police between the two criminal incidents however as per sources without ruling out the possibility totally police investigation into the incidents is underway at present.

As per media reports both the victims were shot at left side chest region of body. The victim whose body was found on railway track had left home at around 9 PM last night after dinner intimating family members that he was going to Nathnagar railway station for a stroll.

As per information provided to police by his family members, before leaving home the victim had told family members that he would come back soon. The victim had enmity with none nor he had any bad habit, the family members had told police.

The other victim identified as Shekhar left home prior to dinner at around 9 PM after a friend came to call him. Subsequently he left home with his friend, at around 10 PM his family members came to know that he had been murdered.

As per available information after being shot at by unidentified criminals, the grievously injured victim started shouting for help.  Hearing his cry for help, assisted by some people of the locality he was rushed to medical college hospital on a bike by a youth of the locality.

However, the victim succumbed to his injuries at hospital. As per unofficial information some suspects involved in the two separate incidents have been identified besides some specific leads concerning the incidents have been received by police.
