Dhanbad: The 19th Jharkhand State Junior Wushu Championship concluded on Monday at Tata Community Centre, Digwadih, Dhanbad. Ranchi stood first with 89 points, Chatra became second with 41 points and Ramgarh stood third with 10 points.
The chief guest of the closing ceremony was Yogendra Yadav, senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party and special guests were Shravan Roy and Dr JK Banerjee, Principal of Shyama Prasad College. They also honoured the office bearers of Jharkhand and Dhanbad District Wushu Association, Shailendra Dubey, Amarendra Dutt Dwivedi, Ratnesh Kumar, S Wahid Ali, Dinesh Yadav, Shashikant Pandey, Gokulanand Mishra and gave away certificates and medals to medal winning players.
It is to be noted that the players selected on the basis of this championship will participate in the Junior National Championship.
