Ayodhya, January 9:  During his first visit of the year 2024 to Ayodhya on Tuesday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath directed officials to implement the ‘Kumbh model of cleanliness’ in Ayodhya and ensure that the ‘Ramnagari’ appears the cleanest and the most beautiful among cities.

He specifically instructed, “Dust should not be visible on the roads, and toilets must be cleaned daily.”

The Chief Minister conducted a thorough inspection of the ongoing development projects and expressed concern for the well-being of the saints and sages. His visit also included a trip to Kuber Tila, where he paid homage to Jatayu.

In relation to the ongoing development projects, the Chief Minister gave clear instructions to the concerned officials that it was imperative for them to execute the tasks maintaining high-quality and within the specified timeframe in view of the fact that following January 22, a significant surge in the number of devotees and tourists was expected. The Chief Minister made it clear that any form of negligence would not be tolerated under any circumstances.

During the tour of the Tent City developed by the Trust, Trust General Secretary Champat Rai provided Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath with insights into the arrangements at Teerth Kshetra Puram. The Chief Minister visited various areas, including Mahant Avedyanath Ji Nagar, Omkar Bhave Nagar, and Vamdev Ji Maharaj Nagar, examining the preparations and emphasizing the utmost priority on cleanliness. He expressed the need for a cleanliness system akin to the one implemented during the Kumbh festival.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an inspection of the Tent City, which is currently under construction by the Municipal Corporation. With a focus on accommodating visitors in Ayodhya after January 22, the Chief Minister issued directives to ensure a hassle-free experience, particularly during the rainy season.

He emphasized the need for raising the door frames slightly to prevent potential issues. In addition, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed the importance of maintaining cleanliness in women’s and men’s toilets, emphasizing the necessity for regular cleaning and the prevention of any form of mismanagement.

Chief Minister visits Municipal Corporation Jalkal Bhawan

After darshan and worship at Sankatmochan Hanumangarhi and Ramlala, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath visited Kuber Tila, where he offered prayers to Jatayu ji. Subsequently, the Chief Minister inspected the Municipal Corporation Water Works Building in Beniganj Amaniganj, observing ongoing development works.

Takes stock of arrangements in Panchavati Ashram

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also took stock of arrangements at Panchavati Ashram. During the inspection, he directed that high standards of cleanliness be maintained, ensuring provision for hot water. He emphasized the importance of clean pits and blankets. The Chief Minister underscored the significance of respectful behavior from the staff deployed at the ashram towards the residents, urging them to work with a spirit of service.

CM visits Mahant Nritya Gopal Das

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also visited Mahant Nritya Gopal Das, the President of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, at Maniram Das Cantonment to inquire about his well-being. During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the consecration of the Ram temple. The Chief Minister also paid a visit to Digambar Akhara.
