Patna: Raj Milk FC have confirmed their place in the final of the Rajkumar Mahaseth Patna District Senior Division Football League. Raj Milk will face Patna Warriors in the final. The final match will be played on January 18.
The second semi-final of this league was played between Raj Milk FC and Imperial Soccer FC. The competition was very fierce. The game went into extra time. Both the teams remained tied at 2-2 till the stipulated time. Mohammad Tauhid scored a goal in the 108th minute of extra time and gave his team a ticket to the final.
As soon as the semi-final match started, Dilsher scored a goal in the 18th minute to give Raj Milk FC a 1-0 lead. A few minutes before the end of the first half, Rakesh Hansda of Imperial Soccer scored a goal to level the match at 1-1.
As soon as the second half of the game started, Raj Milk FC’s star player Diliram Sanyasi gave a 2-1 lead by scoring a goal but Imperial Soccer was not going to be left behind. Dilip Kumar scored a goal in the 59th minute and again leveled the match at 2-2.
The struggle to take the lead continued between the players of both the teams. The result remained tied at 2-2 for the stipulated 90 minutes. Then extra time was resorted to in which Raj Milk’s Md Tauhid (108th minute) scored a goal to give a 3-2 lead. After this, the Imperial Soccer players tried their best to return to the match but were unsuccessful.
Chief referee Harendra Yadav showed yellow card to Raj Milk’s Ankit Kumar and Imperial Soccer’s Robert Panna.
Mohammad Tauhid of Raj Milk was presented the Player of the Match award by Pankaj Somvanshi, Technical Officer of Bihar Football Association.
The assistant judges of this match were Ravi Shankar Kumar and Samant Kumar while the fourth judge was Sunil Kumar.
