Rabri Devi and Tej Pratap Yadav Grilled by Enforcement Directorate in Land-for-Jobs Case

Patna: In the ongoing investigation into the land-for-jobs case, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) team questioned former Bihar Chief Minister Rabri Devi, the wife of ex-Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, for four hours on Tuesday. During the interrogation, the ED posed crucial questions to Rabri Devi and Tej Pratap Yadav, her elder son, regarding their alleged involvement in the scam. Important information was reportedly obtained during the questioning, which is expected to aid the probe. Notably, this marked the first time Tej Pratap Yadav faced questioning by the ED.

The ED had summoned Rabri Devi and Tej Pratap Yadav to appear at their Patna office for questioning in connection with the case. Complying with the summons, the former Chief Minister and Lalu Prasad’s elder son arrived at the ED office, where they were questioned separately. It is also reported that the ED may question Lalu Prasad Yadav in Patna on Wednesday.

Rabri Devi arrived at the ED office around 10:30 am, and the questioning began at 11 am. She was intensively interrogated for four hours. Later, Tej Pratap Yadav also arrived at the Patna office, where both he and his mother were questioned in separate rooms. During the session, the ED officials asked a series of questions to both individuals. According to ED sources, the interrogation yielded vital information that is expected to help a lot in the investigation of the scam.
