Purnia and Gopalganj Battle to a Draw in Randhir Verma Under-19 Cricket Tournament Clash

Bhagalpur, May 6: The match between Purnia and Gopalganj in the Super League of the Randhir Verma Under-19 Cricket Tournament, held at the Sandys Compound Stadium and hosted by the Bhagalpur District Cricket Association under the Bihar Cricket Association, concluded in a draw. Purnia earned 3 points based on their lead in the first innings, while Gopalganj secured 1 point.

In this Pool 4 encounter, Gopalganj managed to score 109 runs, losing all wickets in their first innings, and 212 runs, losing all wickets again in the second innings. Purnia, on the other hand, posted 204 runs, losing all wickets in 72.4 overs during their first innings, and scored 88 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their second innings.

On the second day, Gopalganj began their second innings with 4 runs for the loss of 1 wicket. They ultimately scored 212 runs, with Prashant Kumar contributing 41 runs. Aamir Masood claimed 6 wickets for Purnia, while Rishi Parashar took 3 wickets.
