Patna, August 4: A grand literary and poetry seminar was organised at Premchand Rangshala here on Thursday to mark the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. Internationally renowned poet and litterateur Dr. Kasim Khurshid, distinguished poetess from Delhi, Renu Hussain, Dr. Veena Amrit, Dr. Bhavna Shekhar, Dr. Savita Singh Nepali, Dr. Ruby Bhushan participated in the seminar.
The literature and poetry seminar was organised by Kavivar Gopal Singh Nepali Foundation. Sameer Parimal and others were present. The poetry seminar chaired by Dr Poornima Shekhar Singh was inaugurated by Bihar’s Industries Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain. Bihar’s Director General of Police Alok Raj, JD(U) spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan, Doordarshan’s program head Dr. Rajkumar Nahar and eminent litterateurs were present on the occasion.
In the poetry seminar, eminent poets presented their best works and won the hearts of the audience. Internationally renowned Dr Kasim Khurshid captivated audience reciting his poems while poet Renu Hussain, who came from Delhi, enthralled the audience with her compositions and presentation. The performances of Dr. Veena Amrit, Dr. Bhavna Shekhar, Dr. Savita Singh Nepali, Dr. Ruby Bhushan, Sameer Parimal also enthralled the audience. Poet Nilanshu Ranjan attended the literary and poetry seminar program from Mumbai, while Dr. Sushil Sahil came here to attend the programme from Jharkhand. Poet Dr. Gorakh Mastana, who arrived from Bettiah, represented Champaran, the land of poet Gopal Singh Nepali. Dr. Mangala Rani Singh, Jyoti Sparsh, Dr. Ruby Bhushan, Dr. Anil Kumar Singh, and all other poets presented soul-touching compositions.
Renu Hussain, wife of Bihar’s Industries Minister Syed Shahnawaz Hussain and an eminent poet made the audience spell-bound through her poems. The audience applauded her when she presented patriotic poems.
