Bhagalpur: With total eight-one students of Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bhagalpur, have been selected for placement by Infosys, there is something major for the institution to rejoice.
Selection of students by multinational technology company was done in course of two- day campus recruitment organized by the institution since November 27. The selection was made of total 113 students who had applied for placement in Infosys.
The selected students who would be provided 20-day training would be provided initial base package during the training period. As per IIIT, Bhagalpur authorities the package of selected students would be increased to 9.5 lakh per annum on successful completion of training.
Prof P K Jain, director, IIIT, Bhagalpur, congratulated successful students and conveyed them his best wishes on completion of selection process. In academic circle of the institution, it is largely felt satisfactory number of students selected for placement in Infosys speaks volume about quality education and training being provided to students by the institution.
To celebrate achievement of students, a cake cutting ceremony was organized in institution today in presence of Infosys recruitment team. Joy marked the event organized to celebrate success of students in campus recruitment.
