Pleasant Valley School Clinch Nanhak Mahto Cricket Trophy

Patna: Pleasant Valley School won the second Nanhak Mahto Prize Money School Cricket Tournament title defeating Panthers XI by 90 runs in the final at the Sanjay Gandhi Stadium.

Pleasant Valley School won the toss and scored 219 runs for 8 wickets in 25 overs while batting first. Rahul hit up 89 runs. In reply, Panthers XI were all out for 129 runs in 17 overs though Rishabh scored 57 runs. The winning team received a cash prize of Rs 11,000 along with the trophy.

The players were awarded by chief guest Neeraj Kumar, special guest Ajay Kumar and Pratima Devi. Naveen Kumar welcomed the guests while Santosh Tiwari proposed vote of thanks. The umpires of the match were Praveen Sinha and Baijnath Prasad while the scorer was Raja Kumar.
