Patna, May 9: Piyush Kumar Singh’s brilliant innings (167 not out off 127 balls, including 10 fours and 11 sixes), supported by captain Babul Kumar’s all-around performance (56 runs, 3 wickets), and Sudhanshu Kumar’s aggressive batting display (73 runs off 37 balls, with 7 fours and 5 sixes), along with Kundan Sharma and Pawan Kumar’s bowling prowess (3 wickets each), led PSU to a commanding 96-run victory over Adalatganj CC in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League.
At the local Urja Stadium, PESU, after winning the toss, set a formidable total of 327 runs for 6 wickets in their allotted 40 overs. Piyush Kumar Singh’s unbeaten century stole the show, while Babul and Sudhanshu contributed significantly. Adalatganj CC’s bowling attack found some success with Roshan Sharma, Mohammad Rafi, Harsh Raj, and Ajit Kumar picking up wickets.
