Patna: On the occasion of Valentine’s Day, the 20th Valentine’s Day Throwball Championship was organised at Patna Women’s College on Tuesday. A total of four teams took part in the Tournament. There were two teams from Patna Women’s College and one team from Magadh Mahila College.
The championship was inaugurated by Throwball Association of Bihar (TAB) secretary Neeraj Kumar Pappu. He also distributed the prizes after the match. College HOD Manjula, Sports teacher Shweta, other cabinet members were present on the occasion.
In the final, Patna Women’s College defeated Magadh Mahila College. Jahnavi Sharma, Preeti Kumari, Wenjar, Prachi, Riya, Shambhavi, Rashmi, Khushi, Varsha from Patna Women’s College while Shilpi, Sneha, Riya, Priyanka, Pragya Srivastava and Pragati Raj from Magadh Mahila College performed well.
