Panchayati Raj Department to recruit 6500 IT assistants on contract in Bihar

Patna:  Bihar Gram Swaraj Yojana Society of Bihar Panchayati Raj Department will recruit 6570 posts of Accountant cum IT Assistant on contract. The official website has published the vacancy notification. The process of online applications for this recruitment will start on April 30, 2024. The last date for applications has been fixed as May 29, 2024.

This recruitment will be done on a three-year contract. The contract of the candidate can be extended on the basis of his performance. Among the vacancies, 4270 are for men and 2300 are for women. There are 1643 unreserved posts. 657 are reserved for EWS, 1313 for SC, 131 for ST, 1643 for EBC and 1183 for BC categories. For more information, you can email.

Candidates applying for the post must have B.Com or M.Com or CA Inter degree. Additionally, CA Inter candidates will receive preference during selection. The maximum age of the candidates to apply for these posts has also been determined. For the male category, the maximum age should be 45 years in the unreserved category and the EWS category, while the maximum age for the female category in the same category should be 48 years. Additionally, candidates from backward and extremely backward classes, both women and men, can apply up to the age of 48, while Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates can only apply up to the age of 50.

However, it is mandatory for the candidate to be at least 21 years of age to apply for these posts. The Panchayati Raj Department will provide selected candidates with a monthly salary of Rs 20,000 for these posts. However, these candidates will not receive the same facilities and allowances as permanent employees. There will be a CBT-based written examination for selection. In the final merit, 50 percent of the of the marks will be for educational qualification, and 50 percent will be for the CBT exam. That means both will be given equal weightage.

The application fee of the candidates participating in this examination has been fixed for unreserved male, EWS, BC, EBC – male – Rs 500, female – Rs 250, SC, ST (residents of Bihar) – male. Rs 250, Women – Rs 250, Women and Disabled – Rs 250.
