Muzaffarpur trounce Saharsa in Randhir Verma Under-19 Cricket Tournament

Begusarai: Muzaffarpur defeated Saharsa by 8 wickets in the Randhir Verma Under-19 Cricket Tournament’s Central Zone match played on Saturday, organized by Bihar Cricket Association at Barauni Fertilizer grounds.

Saharsa won the toss and decided to bat first. Saharsa scored 213 runs in the stipulated 50 overs. For Saharsa team, Pranab Chauhan scored 56 runs in 65 balls and Prince scored 37 runs in 38 balls and for Muzaffarpur Aditya Kumar took 2 wickets.

In reply, Muzaffarpur achieved the target by losing 2 wickets in just 28 overs. For Muzaffarpur, Rishabh Raj scored 85 runs and Aditya Sinha scored 79 runs. Kunal took 2 wickets.

Muzaffarpur’s Rishabh Raj was given the Man of the Match award by Begusarai District Cricket Association Ad-hoc Committee President Mrityunjay Kumar Veeresh.
