Bihar Sharif: Gaya defeated Nawada by 3 wickets in the Group D match of the ongoing BCA Senior Cricket Tournament hosted by Cricket Association of Nalanda.
Gaya won the toss and decided to bowl first at Mohammadpur, Ekangardih in Nalanda district. Batting first, Nawada scored 294 runs losing 9 wickets in 45 overs. For Nawada, Rishi Raj scored 82 runs, Yash Raj scored 60 runs, Suman Saurav scored 50 runs and Harsh scored 23 runs.
For Gaya, Priyaranjan took 4 wickets for 57 runs, Praveen took 3 wickets for 39 runs. Nikku and Avinash took one wicket each.
In reply, Gaya team won the match by 3 wickets with the help of a century by Mangal Mahrour (105 runs).
