Patna: The two-day Super Smash Badminton and Great Move Chess competitions at Litera Valley School, Bhagwat Nagar Kumhrar, concluded on Saturday with remarkable performances from young athletes.
The school’s Director, Amit Prakash, Principal Desmond Jude De Monte, and School Manager Sujata Bhadani welcomed the chief guests. Dr. Sarwan Kumar, Secretary of the Food and Conservation Department, Government of Bihar, attended as the chief guest, applauding the students for their outstanding efforts.
Other notable attendees included the school’s head physical teacher Prashant Kumar, badminton coaches Mod Pathak and Abhijit Raj, and chess coaches Manoj Kumar, Mukesh Kumar, Manoj Shekhar, Bratati Taron, Shweta Kumari, and Sapna Kumari.
Badminton Competition Results:
- Under 14 Boys: Trinity Global School defeated Saint Michael 2-0.
- Under 17 Boys: D.A.V. Transport Nagar defeated D.P.S. Danapur 2-0.
- Under 19 Boys: Litera Valley School defeated D.P.S. Danapur 2-0.
- Girls Under 14: Notre Dame defeated D.P.S. Danapur 2-0.
- Girls Under 17: St. Joseph Convent defeated Notre Dame 2-0.
- Girls Under 19: St. Michael School defeated Litera Valley School 2-0.
Chess Tournament Champions:
- Bhaskar, Krish, Pratik, Rituraj, Vansh, Anahita, Riddhima, and Aradhya triumphed in their respective categories.
