Patna: State level kho-kho tournaments in Bihar will now be held on mats instead of clay as Kho-Kho Association of Bihar has got its own mat. This mat worth about Rs 10 lakh has been made available to the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar by the Kho-Kho Federation of India.
Giving this information, Neeraj Kumar Pappu, General Secretary of Kho-Kho Association of Bihar, while thanking the President of Kho-Kho Federation of India Sudhanshu Mittal and General Secretary Mahendra Singh Tyagi, said that after the availability of mat, preparations for national tournaments will be easy as players of Bihar will be greatly benefited.

He said that the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar would start the event with Bihar state inter-school tournament on this mat. The tournament is likely to be organised after the month of February. He said that the preparation for this tournament will be started soon.
He said that the Kho-Kho Association of Bihar will soon announce to organise Bihar Kho-Kho Premier League.
