Patna: Kedia XI and Kajipur CC won their respective matches in the Patna District Junior Division Cricket League on Wednesday.
At Khemnichak Ground, Kajipur CC defeated JP CC by four wickets while Kedia XI defeated Western CC by seven wickets in at Mangal Talab ground. Alliance CC got a walkover at the Jagjivan Stadium as City Students Club did not turn up.
Kedia XI won the toss and decided to field first. Batting first after winning the toss, Western CC scored 122 runs losing all wickets in 22 overs. In reply, Kedia XI won the match by scoring 123 runs for three wickets in 18.3 overs. Neeraj Singh, who took three wickets from the winning team, was declared player of the match.
Batting first after winning the toss, JP CC scored 96 runs losing all wickets in 19.5 overs.In reply, Kajipur CC won the match by scoring 97 runs in 6 wickets in 16.4 overs. Atul Yadav, who took three wickets for the winning team, became the player of the match.
