Patna: In the last match for Bihar in the Vinoo Mankad U-19 One Day Tournament in Chandigarh on Friday, Bihar team lost to J&K by five runs in a closely contested match.
After winning the toss, J&K were all out, scoring 184 runs in 37.1 overs. in reply, Bihar were all out, scoring 179 runs in 44.5 overs.
For J&K, AR Khajuria contributed 61, Mausoob Mohd Bhatt made 32, Abdul Basit Lone and Salman Ahmed made 13 runs each, and Ricky Jaitley contributed an unbeaten 19 runs.
For Bihar, Satyam Kumar took 4 wickets, Suman and Anup took two wickets each and Vivek and Vasudev took one wicket each.
Chasing 185 to win, Bihar were bowled out for 179 runs. Taufiq scored 63 runs, Vaibhav made 27 runs, Animesh scored 26 runs.
For J&K, Salman Ahmed Bakshi took 3 wickets. Ritwik Jaitley and Tajmul Hasan took two wickets each.
