Patna: Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav has attacked the BJP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He claimed that there is a lot of uneasiness among the BJP. These individuals are discussing reaching the 400 mark in a state of panic. The public has exposed them, and their support is gradually dwindling. That’s why these people are discussing amending the Constitution to mislead the upper castes. In contrast, if this happens, the entire Bahujan community will not sit silently.
Lalu Prasad said their leaders were openly saying that they would change the Constitution. Babasaheb Ambedkar crafted the Constitution. Whoever tries to change the Constitution, the Dalits, backward and poor people of the country will gouge out their eyes. The people of the country will not forgive,” he said.
“They want to bring dictatorship, changing the Constitution means changing democracy,” he said. Yesterday, UP BJP MP Lallu Singh said that the government is formed only on 272 seats, but two-thirds of the seats are required to change or amend the Constitution. “Changing the Constitution means destroying democracy,” he said. Lalu also took a dig at the BJP’s slogan of crossing 400.
RJD national president Lalu Prasad Yadav spoke to the media on Monday. He said that BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, are in panic. They are assuming that they are losing in the Lok Sabha elections. That’s why they are talking about bringing in more than 400 seats. They are going out in public and asking for an overwhelming majority so that they can change the Constitution.
He said that PM Narendra Modi would remember that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had talked about reconsidering the country’s reservation. At that time, the public had completely destroyed their intentions. The same situation will happen this time as well. The BJP will again reach its old position.
Lalu Yadav said that BJP leaders are openly saying that they will change the Constitution. He said, This is the Constitution made by Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, not by any other Baba. “Beware, if you dare like this, the public will not remain silent. By changing the Constitution, they want to eliminate democracy from the country, ” he said.
