Hyderabad drub Bihar by 9 wickets in Senior Women’s One Day Trophy

Patna: Hyderabad crushed Bihar by nine wickets in the Senior Women’s One Day Trophy match at Nehru Stadium in Guwahati on Wednesday.

Bihar scored 111 runs all out in 49.5 overs after winning the toss and electing to bat first. In reply, Hyderabad women made 114 runs, losing one wicket in 31.5 overs.

Priya remained not out on 22 runs in the Bihar innings, scoring the most runs among Bihar batters. Bihar skipper Apurva made 15 runs before being run out. In the Bihar innings, three batters were declared run outs.

Ishitha Koduri and Vanka Pooja took two wickets each for Hyderabad.

In reply, Hyderabad openers Ramya and Anuradha Nayak added 83 runs for the first wicket to pave the way for victory. Hyderabad captain Ramya remained not out on 45 (92 balls, 5×4) while Anuradha Nayak scored 41 (75 balls, 7×4) before being adjudged leg before off the bowling of Shilpi.
