Aurangabad, May 23: Hritik Anand of Viashali, Himanshu Shekhar of Aurangabad, Ankur Srivastava of Patna, Khooshee Kumar Pankaj of Jehanabad, Adittya Kumar of Patna advanced into the second round of the Hundred Bihar State 1st Senior Ranking Badminton Tournament, organised by Aurangabad District Badminon Association here on Thursday.
Also advanced into the second round were Parag Singh (Munger), Saurav Mishra (Madhubani),Saksham Vasta (Patna), Tanweer Ahmad (Muzaffarpur), Tanya Ranjan (Patna) and Payod Pushkar (Munger).
Earlier, Ashutosh Arora, managing director SK Food Products was the chief guest and he inaugurated the tournament. KN Jaiswal, secretary, Bihar Badminton Association was the guest of honour. Laxmi Prasad Gupta, chairman, District Badminton Association, Nand Kishor Prasad, treasurer, District Badminton Association and Margoob Alam, organising secretary were present on the occasion.
