Patna: High Performance Cricket Academy and AK Cricket Academy advanced to the semi-finals of the Abhishek Memorial Under-16 Inter-School Cricket Tournament. On Monday, High Performance Cricket Academy defeated YCC by six wickets, while AK Cricket Academy won against Cricket Academy Patna by 26 runs.
In the first match, AK Cricket Academy won the toss, opted to bat first, and scored 190 runs for eight wickets in 21 overs. In response, Cricket Academy of Patna was bowled out for 164 runs in 21 overs. Sumit, from the winning team, was awarded the Player of the Match by Ward Councillor Ashish Yadav, Metro Hospital Director Indrajit Singh, and social worker Pramod Singh, with sponsorship from Rize Coaching IIT.
In the second match, YCC won the toss and batted first, posting 170 runs for eight wickets in 20 overs. In response, High Performance Cricket Academy chased down the target, scoring 173 runs for four wickets in 19.4 overs. Sanskar Prabhakar, who contributed 33 runs and took three wickets, received the Player of the Match award sponsored by Rize Coaching IIT.
