Patna: Sardar Patel Cricket Academy and Super Over Cricket Academy have advanced to the semi-finals of the Shailendra Kumar Memorial Under-15 Inter-School Cricket Tournament, sponsored by Casa Picolla Restaurant. The matches, held on Thursday at the Krishna Cricket Ground (Khemnichak) under the auspices of the Sardar Patel Sports Foundation, saw Sardar Patel Cricket Academy triumph over BPCA Red by 91 runs, while Super Over Cricket Academy defeated SPS CC by 5 wickets.
In the first match, Sardar Patel Cricket Academy won the toss and elected to bat first, posting an impressive total of 289 runs for 4 wickets in 25 overs. Neeraj Kumar was the star performer, scoring a magnificent 169 runs, ably supported by Priyanshu Kumar, who contributed 69 runs. Keshav Krish claimed 2 wickets for BPCA Red. In response, BPCA Red were bowled out for 198 runs in 25 overs, with Deep Yadav top-scoring with 52 runs. Aryan Raj and Pratyush Sundaram each took 3 wickets for Sardar Patel Cricket Academy.
