Patna, June 16: On the second day of the three-day match in the BCA Senior Men’s Cricket Tournament Super League being played at the local Moinul Haq Stadium, Patna declared their first innings after scoring 579 runs for three wickets, thanks to Harsh and Akash’s unbeaten century innings. By the end of the second day’s play, Muzaffarpur scored 122 runs for four wickets.
Patna started the day on 368 for three wickets and no player was out till the declaration of the innings. Harsh Raj remained unbeaten after scoring 157 runs (ten fours and seven sixes) and Akash Raj remained unbeaten after scoring 100 runs (seven fours and one six).
In reply, Muzaffarpur kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Batting for Muzaffarpur, Chandra Prakash was out after scoring 10 runs, Shivam Kumar scored 4 runs, Aditya Kumar scored 5 runs and Vikash Ranjan scored 20 runs, while opener Ankit Kumar Singh retired hurt scoring 44 runs. Atulya Priyankar on 9 runs and Abhinav Alok on 7 runs were on the crease at the end of the second day’s play.
For Patna, Abhinav took 3 wickets and Suraj took one wicket.
