Patna: The ad-hoc committee constituted by the Bihar Cricket Association (BCA) for the operation of cricket in Patna district has announced the Patna district under-19 team under the leadership of Gulshan Kumar. This information was jointly given by Rajesh Kumar, the convenor of the ad-hoc committee, and member Rehbar Abedin.
Rehbar Abdeen said that the selection trials were conducted for the first two days. From the trials, three teams were formed and their trial match was organised. On the basis of the trial matches, the selectors selected 34 players for registration. A practice match for these players was organised at the Manoj Kamaliya Stadium in Patna City from March 27 and after that the 16-member team was announced. Ten players have been kept as reserved players.
