Patna: Vidyarthi FC defeated Junior New Yarpur FC 3-0 in the Rekha Devi Patna District Junior Division Football League match being played under the aegis of Patna Football Association at Sanjay Gandhi Stadium. In the second match, City Athletic Club got a walkover as Bhogi Paswan FC did not turn up.
In the first match, Vidyarthi FC’s Sarvesh Kumar was in slaying mood. Sarvesh Kumar scored all three goals with a hat-trick. Sarvesh Kumar scored in the 25th, 50th and 65th minutes of the game.
Sarvesh of Junior New Yarpur FC was shown the yellow card by referee Mithilesh Kumar.
Player of the match award was given to Vidyarthi’s Sarvesh Kumar by Patna Football Association president Ram Ishwar Prasad alias Sadhu Gop.
