Patna: Li-Ning Bihar State Senior and Junior (U 19) Ranking Badminton Tournament, 2023 will be held in Gopalganj from October 10 to October 14. The tournament is being organised under auspices of Bihar Badminton Association, conducted by Goplaganj district badminton association.
The tournament will be held at Ambedkar Bhawan Indoor Stadium, Ambedkar Chowk (near
bus stand), Gopalganj.
About 150 players will participate in the five-day event, according to Bihar Badminton Association secretary KN Jaiswal. He said qualifying Matches will be played on October 10 while the main tournament will be held from October 11 to October 14.
He said seven events such as men’s singles, men’s doubles, women’s singles, women’s doubles, junior boys singles, junior boys doubles and junior girls singles will be organised.
Gopalganj district magistrate Nawal Kisho Choudhary will inaugurate the tournament. SP Gopalganj Swarn Prabhat and Abhishek Ranjan, DDC, Gopalganj will be the chief guests at the opening function, Jaiswal said.
