Patna, July 18: Gaya Youth Cricket Club and Cricket Academy of Bihar (CAB) won their respective matches in the Oxford Cup Super-Challenger Under-13 cricket tournament at the Cricket Academy of Bihar ground here on Monday.
The tournament being organised in the memory of Subuj Tiwari with the help of Oxford Business College, Gaya Youth Cricket Club defeated Lakshya Cricket Academy by nine wickets while Cricket Academy of Bihar defeated Cricket Academy of Pathans by 51 runs.
Lakshya Cricket Academy won the toss and scored 79 for nine in 25 overs. In reply, Gaya Youth Cricket Club scored 80 runs in 7.3 overs. Organizing secretary Santosh Tiwari gave away the Man of the Match award to Shubham of the winning team.
In the second match, CAB won the toss and batting first scored 171 for 8 in 25 overs. In reply, Cricket Academy of Pathans were all out for 120 runs in 22.5 overs. The man of the match award was given by Ganesh Dutt to Aditya of the winning team.
