Patna: On the basis of half-century by Anmol Kumar Boney (51 runs) and brilliant bowling by Rishabh Raj (4 wickets), GAC registered its second consecutive win in the Patna District Senior Division Cricket League.
Under this league being run at the local Sampatchak Ground, GAC defeated Moonlight CC by 8 wickets in the match played on Thursday.
Moonlight CC won the toss and batting first scored 102 runs losing all the wickets in 23.1 overs. Prem Sharma played an inning of 32 runs.
For GAC side, Rishabh Raj took 4 wickets for 12 runs and Samrat Sunny took 3 wickets for 21 runs.
In reply, GAC won the match by scoring 104 runs for two wickets in 6.5 overs. Anmol Kumar Boney scored unbeaten 51 runs in 21 balls with the help of 4 fours and 5 sixes and Vikas Krishna played an inning of 26 runs in 7 balls with the help of 2 fours and 3 sixes. Rishabh Raj of the winning team was given the Player of the Match award.
