Patna: Based on the performance of Ramdevan Rai-Dilip Rai Memorial 29th Bihar State Senior Ball Badminton Championship (Men and Women) to be organised by Vaishali District Ball Badminton Association from December 14 to 16 at Kushwaha Ashram Hajipur under the aegis of Bihar State Ball Badminton Association, the Bihar senior men and women ball badminton teams will be selected.
Giving this information, Bihar State Ball Badminton Association Secretary Gouri Shankar said that a five-member selection committee has been formed for the selection of the Bihar team. Ranjan Kumar Gupta (Patna) has been named convenor of the committee while the members are Mitali Mitra (Patna), Rambabu Singh (Bhojpur), Santosh Sharma (Madhubani) and Umesh Kumar (Samastipur).
For the selection of Patna team for Senior State Ball Badminton Championship, a selection tournament was held today at Mahant Hanuman Sharan Higher Secondary School, Mainpura here under the supervision of Patna District Ball Badminton Association Secretary Dr Arun Dayal and Convener Neha Rani. The names of Patna District Ball Badminton Men’s and Women’s team will be announced on December 13.
