Patna: The first open selection trial of players for the formation of teams participating in the third season of Casa Picolla School Under -15 Cricket League, organised by Turning Point, was held on Monday at the Cricket Academy located at Veena Vidya Niketan School, Rajiv Nagar.
Giving this information, Director of Turning Point Vijay Sharma said that a total of 240 players took part in this selection trial. He said that from the first trial players will be selected for three teams GNIOT Blasters, RIT Champions and Tulaj Warriors.
The players were selected by a four-member selection committee comprising Saurabh Chakraborty, Praveen Sinha, Sumit Sharma and Naveen Kumar.
Convener Sumit Sharma said that the second selection trial for this league will be held on December 29 at Khushi Cricket Academy, Mithila Colony. He said that in the second selection trial, players will be selected for HIT Knight Riders, JIS Janbaz and Manav Rachna Lions teams.
Trial coordinator Naveen Kumar said that players above 13 years below 15 years will participate in this selection trial.
