Ranchi: Unite CC defeated Justice Red by 5 wickets in the third quarterfinal match of the Little Wings School B Division Cricket Tournament at Golchakkar Ground on Tuesday.
Batting first, Justice Red scored 150 runs off 33 overs losing 9 wickets. Deepak slammed unbeaten 60 and Subham scored 29 runs/
Abhishek and Mudassar took three wickets each. In reply, Unite CC achieved the target by losing 5 wickets in 27 overs by scoring 153 runs. Shaban scored 44 runs, Vikash scored 39 and Sikandar made 33 runs. Subham took three wickets.
Galaxy win by 40 runs in rain interrupted match
Galaxy CC defeated Mitali CC by 40 runs in the fourth quarterfinal match of Little Wings School B Division cricket played at Prabhat Tara Ground in Ranchi.
Batting first, Galaxy scored 220 runs in 30 overs. Yuvraj scored 60, Avinash scored 59, Rohit took 4 wickets. In reply Mitali were 145 runs in 24.2 overs losing 8 wickets when rain interrupted the play. Galaxy declared winner by RDCA rule.
Vijay scored 29, Subroto scored 26, Zakir Aman and Akash took two wickets each.
